Embodied Relationship Coaching
Embodied relationship is when I connect with people, not just through an idea or concept in my mind but also through my body, cells, energy, blood, and every movement with this being be it a person or not, has a rhytm, texture, sensation to it, how we relate to this sensation and then relate from this embodied place. This place that thrives connection and with connection is where we find our most authentic relationships.
Why Embodied Relationship Coaching?
We are in relationship to everything and everyone, the relationship that we refer to is the practice of relating, the practice of learning to relate in a way that is embodied and connected to the core of who we are. The intensity of relationships differ from one another but the way we relate just reflects the relationship we have with our bodies, our body’s capacity, our mind, our spirit, our energy, our earth within. This is not to say we are wrong or bad when we do not relate in the way that blooms connection (be it to a human or other than human), this is to say that there is a lot we are unconscious about our own relationship to oneself, and there is always space within to pause, relate and reflect.
In a culture where we have just strategize our relationships, it is very essential to bring the element of the body and energy back into our path to connection to oneself and around. Where have we as humans believed that we are outside nature and earth? We practice to relate to it not because we are apart from it, but because we are a part of it. The relation we have to our earth is the relation that grounds us into every other relation her as beings.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is relationship coaching, and how can it benefit my relationship?
Relationship coaching is valuable at various stages of a relationship. It's not limited to couples in crisis; it can be helpful for couples seeking to deepen their connection, navigate life transitions, or proactively address minor issues before they escalate. If you're experiencing communication breakdowns, frequent conflicts, or a lack of intimacy, relationship coaching can provide valuable support and guidance.
When should I consider relationship coaching, and is it only for couples in crisis?
We share the intergenerational trauma and collective systemic trauma that runs through our bones and blood, but it also means we share the wisdom of healing within us and as a collective when we come together as a community, we bring forth the hands for healing.
What can I expect during a relationship coaching session?
During a relationship coaching session, you can expect a safe and non-judgmental space to discuss your concerns and goals. The coach will listen actively, ask questions, and provide insights and practical strategies tailored to your unique situation. Sessions often involve communication exercises, conflict resolution techniques, and personal growth work to foster a healthier relationship dynamic.
How many sessions will I need to see improvements in my relationship?
The number of sessions required varies depending on your specific needs and goals. Some couples may benefit from just a few sessions to address specific issues, while others may opt for ongoing coaching to continuously improve their relationship. Your relationship coach will work with you to establish a customized plan and provide guidance on the recommended frequency of sessions.
Is relationship coaching a replacement for couples therapy or counselling?
Relationship coaching and couples therapy or counseling serve different purposes. While therapy focuses on resolving deep-rooted emotional and psychological issues, coaching is more solution-focused and goal-oriented. Relationship coaching is often chosen when couples seek to improve communication, strengthen their bond, and enhance specific aspects of their relationship. However, in cases of severe emotional trauma or mental health concerns, couples therapy or counselling may be more appropriate, and a coach can help you determine the best course of action.
